SFC's ?'s

Ok guys are SFC's important on a drag race setup suspension? Are they worth it for 1/4 only car? NO twisties for just wondering. TIA

Yes!!! Most people agree that should be one of the first mods to any F-body, especially a t-top car. I believe they'll ultimately help the car launch straighter...

I have the BMR boxed - nice for lifting the whole side of the car with a floor jack too.

Just installed BMR tubulars on my Z. It's a must-do mod!

They are something you are probrably going to want to do. I still havn't gotten around to doing them though, I'll probrably wait and do through floor connectors with a 10 point in the future.

I have em, but now im to the point where I want a cage and dont care for the subframs anymore. I run SLP BTW.

What kind of 60's are you pulling? I'm probably going to do a roll cage some time in the future so I guess I'm in the same boat as you. Just wondering if I'm still going to be able to get out of the hole as well without them. Drag racing on a budget sucks! :bang:

lol, having an LS1 on a budget sucks.

I pulling high 1.40s to low 1.50s with pretty much no track prep (street night). So far it's launching straight and solid. If your really on a budget I'd spend the money else where right now.

Thinking of going with heads now but I'm worried about my suspension though. I have already broken one a TA on hard launches. We will see at the end of this deployment.
