Spring Rubber in the Rear????

Spring Rubber in the Rear???? I've got an 02 Camaro SS with the Blisten Ultra Performance Package on it and someone has put 11" wide rear wheels on it. When these wheels were put on, the previous owner cut off the bumps stops. I had a question that if I take a spring rubber and place inbetween one coil on each spring, how bad will this effect my ride and stance. My car sits pretty good, not too low, not to high, I just want to be able to have someone in the back of the car and not have the 315's rub the inner fenderwheel or bottom out. Any suggestions??
