help set my qa1s!! 0,0 in front and 3,3 on back!!

Default help set my qa1s!! 0,0 in front and 3,3 on back!!

ok i want to set my qa1s a little better does anyone have good first hand experiance..im on stock ride hight front shocks are both at 0 meaning softest and back are both at 3 closest to softest...cant seem to hook up!

I typically start at the track with both of mine in the middle setting, or 6 of 12 on front and rear. I first make sure my tire pressure is optimum for traction without being too low. I then soften the fronts by two clicks each pass to see how the car responds and if it hooks. If I get to setting 1 of 12 (softest) on the front and 6 in the rear and it still isn't hooking, I then tighten the rears by one click each pass. As the rears get tighter, what you may notice (at least for me with a 6spd), is that you can sometimes hook initially on the shock of the launch and the suspension unloads and they spin. At that point, may want to consider torque arm adjustment and/or tire changes.

ok what are yours set at ?? just curious soo i start the back on 6 and front on zero..go up one on each side what about this 4lf 6rf 4rb 6lb that is what pro stock john is on i think!

i think he said you start on 6 in front and back, then gradually lower the front a few clicks, if that doesnt work start raising the back a few clicks at a time until you get it launching right.

I usually start w/3 in front, 6/driver rear, 7/passenger rear....

Hade mine set at 1 in front and 2 in the rear, and was pullin the front tires off the ground and wrinkling the Nitto 555 Autocross Sidewall Drag Radials !!!!
No problem hooking up here !!!!!!
