Default my plan for suspension, chassis and brakes, what do you think

stock TA with GMMG and a lid with 39000 miles on ther clock,
I like it a looooott , the m6 is fun, sounds great ,etc....

I m planning on doing handling mod here is my list

Goodyear brake line ( suppose to stiffer the brake pedal feel)
hawk ceramic pads , front and rear
all that from tirerack with shipping 309$

dms subframe connector
dms springs
dms strut tower brace
450$ shipped

koni shocks
front rear sway bar
( should I get them too, if they come with poly bushing is it going to make the ride really stiff??)
from stranoparts.com somewhere around 1000$ shippied

what do you guys think about those upgrades, I ll be getting bigger wheels and tires but nothing huge

thanks for your imput

yeah the sounds like a good all around start, but what are you planes for the car... road racing, street/strip, drag? if you plan on putting power to the ground then i would spend that $309 on lower control arms and pan-hard bar. just something to think about. do a search on what you want and you will find LOADS of info on here about the suspension that best fits you.--Andrew

I think you need to start with the shocks and bars first. The brake upgrades are easy, and we carry all the parts for that as well (one stop shopping). We also have SFC's, STB's and springs as well.. However, I'm not sure you really need those things. Obviously I can't know all the details as to what you are thinking and why by e-mail which is why I'm always asking folks to call me. If you call, I'm sure you'll find it a worthwhile bit of time, and I'll explain to you what each part does, how and what it will effect. THEN you can pick the parts best suited for the job.

thanks so much guys for your post,
by the way, Sam your post are amazing and people get really educated about your saying. I actually talked to you this summer and I was so surprise of how much time and effort you take into talking to newbie like me about suspension
I read good things about dms spring , also cheaper than hotchkis ( hotch something right ?) but I m not set about brand names....
Thanks again,
there on my list , goes first
those brakes upgrades
plus koni and strano sway bars
thanks
by the way if I may give you my imput on your website:
the forums are greats
the selection of product is great
I love how your stuff is center on the car not some stupid girls posing on big rims ls1
the only thing is the way to navigate on the website while going trough parts
maybe include more user friendly menu, picture description, review , etc...
but maybe it is the point of the website, being straight forward and consise
just my .02
bye and have a good one
