I've been told to stick with the 1LE bars for street aplications. They seem to be the best for the money.

Neither, get a 35mm front. If have have alot of money to spend, get a 35mm hollow bar from Sam Strano. If you don't have alot of money, pick up a 35mm solid bar.

Front is $199, rear is $189, or they are $379 for the pair. All bars include new hardware and urethane bushings as well. And my bars are made with cars that turn in mind. Not what's easiest to make, or cheapest. But what's lightest while getting the roll stiffness we want front vs. rear in balance.

We are the only ones who sells a setup like that. Most others use small fronts (32 which your car most likely has stock) with too large a rear. OR they use a nice big front with a way too big rear bar (25mm types). MHO

I think the Strano bars are priced quite reasonable for a set of lightweight hollow swaybars. Check the price of Hotchkiss bars if you want to see expensive.

I ment alot relative to a 35mm solid bar, didn't mean for it to sound like they were extremely high priced. I checked the price on the Hotchkiss a while back {before you could get them separately} and yes they are quite pricey. I ended up with a set of Strano hollow bars.

I got ya... and I understand. I certainly wasn't offended, and I still carry the ST bars, though I rarely sell them. Even with some places selling ST bars for WAY under the fair market price (apparently selling out old stock), the difference is about $75 for 14 pounds of weight savings which is one of the cheapest "weight savings", or more correctly no weight added things you can do. Light flywheels, lighter wheels, driveshafts, seats, etc are all much more costly relative.

BTW, Judd.. I appreciate you posting things like you did. I know we had some trouble way back when the rear bar was new with production delays (which I'm sorry for) and a bar UPS *ahem* mis-placed, which I had no control over. Anyway, there some that can't fathom that the world isn't perfect all the time. I'm glad you aren't one of them.

No problems Sam. If you live in this world long enough, you will meet Murphy. I've met Murphy more times than I can count so I know crap happens and sometimes it's plain and simply no-one's fault. Hard to believe that you remember that, that was near two years ago I think.
