Default someone give me a definate answer on sportlines!!!

ive got some sportlines on my 94 and want to put them on a ls1 car...will they fit, work, whatever...ive looked at old threads and some say they will some say they wont...someone let me know so i know if i need to sell mine or if i can use them

Yes, in fact I think they would work better on a LS1 than a LT1 car. But I don't think it's the best spring to use on either one of them.

i know far as running the car at the track or anything but ive been down that road and basically going the route of a decent running, damn good looking car

So long as it isn't a ground effect car and doesent have any clearance issues i.e. low hanging exhaust, it should be fine. Ya just ogtta take it easy over speedbumps and the usual suspects of scraping.

They'll fit. The difference is in the spring rates. Both LS1 and LT1 Sportlines are progressive rate springs, and the front rates will be the biggest difference, as the LT1 springs are made for a heavier front end (iron block). So, basically, they will work, but the front end may sit a bit higher than the LT1's did.

^^ Ditto... The front end will be suspect.. The rear will be the exact same more than likely..
