Default ? about LG LCA installation!

I got a set of G2 Single Adjustable (rod end/poly) LCA's brand new for basically free from my bro. My question is, does the rod end get mounted to the body of the car and the poly end to the rear end or the other way around?

Next question, the kit cam with these round rubber cup things, what are they for and how do they get monted?

TIA,
Dan

Call LG, or someone will come on here eventually, but it will make less noticeable noise with the rod end on the axle, even though it would have more bind(?) that way. The little cups are to protect the spherical bearings/races in the rod end. They get mounted on either side of each rod end when you install them.

Thanks!

So the cups just get pushed up (smashed) against the the rod end?

Ok.

Any other suggestions on how to mount the LCA's. I like the idea of less noise but want to install them correctly...

If the rod ends are still nice and tight your chances of noise are going to be slim.

I think the rod ends themselves will be quite since there still new, but will the vibrations from having the rod end attached to the body cause extra interior noise? Will it be fine to just have the polly end on the body and the rod end on the rear? I'll assume so, but any implications?

Brother ... it's 4 bolts.

If you don't like them in orientation A, turn them around and reinstall in orientation B. If it's worse, go back to A ....

Thanks for the enlightenment!

It's not like I didn't think of that, I was just mainly wondering what the oppropriate way was, if it mattered, yada yada. I know I can slap them on there, I know there is four bolts, but it's easier if someone already had the answer than me doing trial error testing. One time is easier than two. Brother...that's what this board is for. One person in this post knew anyway...

The poly mounts should be on the body side and the rod ends should go on the axle end.

I will try to be on the forums a little more often Holidays are keeping me busy around here.
