Default UMI Adj LCA Problem

I have an issue with the driver side LCA. These are the single adjustable ones. The driver side one clunks or pops when I go over bumps. They were all torqued to 90 ft lbs spec and not overgreased. I'm not sure if this is normal or not. The car rides and launches fine, just the noise is bothering me. Any help is appreciated.

The rod end wasn't perfectly lined up with poly end. The design of these rod ends allows it rotate one way or other (hard to explain). I cranked down the adjustment nut and brought the rod end exactly in line with the poly end and the noise went away. Not real sure why that made a difference, because it was still able to move freely before. At least its fixed...
