Difference between these QA1's?

Hey guys I'm looking to buy a pair of QA1 front shocks for my 01 SS, the car is going to be a street/strip but will sacrifice alittle ride quality for good 60' at the track. I will also be using the stock springs, my question is what are the differences between the F series and the R series and which one will be good for my intentions? Thanks any help is appreciated.

i BELIEVE the F series is only adjustable for compression, and the R series are adjustable both ways.....
but im not sure at all.

The "F"s are single adjustable (rebound & compression). The "R"s have a fixed compression and adjustable rebound. I run "R"s in the front on the street and like them, I have them set on "1" all the time and the car still handles fine since the compression is fixed.
