lca's? whats better boxed or tubular arms? mostly street driven little track time. |
I'd say that maybe the tubular would be better at resisting flex or, you could box your factory LCA's on the cheap by welding on some flatstock. |
Bump.....Was searching to ask the exact same question. I have tubular right now but just bought some parts in a "package deal" from a friend and got some boxed ones in the deal. Also, they are rubber/poly so which direction do they go on? Kind of lost in the suspension area. |
I have Spohn Adj. Poly/Rod LCAs & PHB. (Poly on the body end, Rod on the axle end.) I read as much as I could on the subject and decided on these as a good compromise between control/comfort/price. They use good quality teflon-lined rod ends. They came originally set to the stock length and the alignment shop adjusted them to properly align the rear axle (it was a bit off, even with the stock parts). |
Any more opinions or suggestions? |
spohn tubular rod/poly combo here... if anything the tubular save room underneath there if you ever plan on running wide rubber back in the rear |
I've got a set of 315/35 Nitto DR's sitting here about to put on right now, but I'm pretty sure that is the same tire the guy that I got them off of was running. |
