You have headers....so in your case, I would definitely go tranny mount. I have headers as well and have a tunnel mounted crossmember with the curve in it for extra clearance, and it's pretty tight for me already.

Here's good pic of it....and my car is NOT lowered...it is a 98 however and they tend to sit an inch lower than the 99 and up from what I have seen.

I wanted to lower my car as well, but because of my torque arm choice, I can't now.

Ah well....thank god my car didn't come with the "4x4" suspension as all the 99 and up cars have.

In that case, you can go tunnel mounted with the straight brace, shouldn't kill ground clearance too much. As you can see in the pic, it's the curve for the headers/Y pipe what really kills the ground clearance.

If you are not running long tubes but are looking for a tunnel mounted torque arm the item below will clear really well while not drastically reducing ground clearance.

Hope that helps!

Ryan, been meaning to tell you the straight crossmember works with
3 point connectors and pacesetter 'Y' pipe. At least if you're lowered.
So i'm a little slow.
