Why do my brakes still squeel?
I put some cross drilled/slotted rotors as well as semi-metallic pads on the car that I got from wholesale direct when they were having their GP. Anyway, it has been 3 months since I put them on, and they squeel. It does it when you lightly press the brake or when you are coming to a stop from a low mph roll. Why does it squeel??

It can squeel from losts of reasons.
* Did you follow the proper bedding/conditioning procedure for the pads and rotors?
* Did you use an anti-squeel shims or goop on the back of the pads?
* Is everything tightened properly?
* Did you inspect the sliding pins and make sure they were greased and moving freely?
* Did you inspect all rubber boots to make sure none were torn?
* Did you look at the caliper pistons to see if they were scratched.
* You bought semi-metallic pads which inherrently squeek.
(It can be minimized, but they do typically squeek.)
Like I said....lots of reasons.
