HAL Spring rate? (or G2's?) I'm seeing 325lb as the stiffest HAL spring. However, the non Coil Over springs are in the 500's. Do Coil Overs use lower spring rates and get the same stiffness? Is there any reason why I shouldn't use G2's with HALs? (I know I need adapter plates) Is there anything like "the HALs are "designed" for coil over springs?" The reason I want to use HALs is I have a set of HALs (that I got for free) that I can get rebuilt for $100 and my funding is pretty low. Otherwise, I would probably get the Bilsteins. Please don't tell me to call Sam. I just don't have the dough for that. Please don't tell me about spending more $$ in the long run either because I'll live with what I get since I don't have the money. :( I've been driving on cut springs and stock shocks for three years now so I'm sure anything will be an improvement. TIA :) |
