Default best way to get new wheel studs in

This is probably a better forum to post this in then the Rims and Tires forum.

What methods are there? I tried to tighten down the lug nut on the stud but it didnt pull it all the way through. The brakes were slipin

Talking

What I have done before was find two nuts that fit the stud. Screw both of them on the stud and put a wrench on each one and tighten them together. Then use the top nut to wrench it down.

You did ask for 'the best way' to do the job.......

Pull the axle and press them in. You might also wnat to check the interfearance fit that you are dealing with as well.

What studs are you putting in ?? What is the OD of the knurl ?? and what is the hole size you are starting with ??

0.010 to 0.012" is the interfearance fit you are looking for.
