What are the symptoms of warped rotors?
I remember I had a brand-new 2000 Z28. When the car had less than 6,000 miles, I drove a friend around. I never noticed that there was anything wrong about it, but he did, because whenever I slowly coasted to a stop, we would hear light thuds/creaks (not squeals or squeaks) coming from the wheels/tires. I thought this was just a normal thing, but he said that my rotors were warped. I believed him even though my braking was not compromised in anyway.
Fast forward to just a few days ago in my 2002 Z28 with 53,000 miles, when I first realized that I was hearing the same light thud/creaks coming from the wheels/tires whenever I was slowly coasting to a stop. I've had no problems braking, but I'm just wondering: are these really symptoms of warped rotors? Should I get them replaced as soon as possble (if they are warped rotors)? Thanks in advance for the info.

Both of the guys above are right, I mostly feel it myself when breaking from 60 MPH. I'm tired of getting them turned so I mite be looking at getting a set of Baer Claw I think that mite take care of that!
