Default QA1 rear shock help!

For those of you who have installed these... did you notice a ride height change? Mine seems to be lower in the rear now, it may be my imagination, but it appears to be dropped.

Also, is it necessary to drop the rearend out when fully tightening the top mounting bolts? I didnt drop the rearend out and am wondering if everything is tight enough... the write up i was following recommended it, but in the write up they were doing a spring swap, so i didnt think anything of it... HELP! I dont want to drive around on this if it isnt safe...

the springs are what determine your ride height

when i put mine in with stock springs nothing changed...maybe your spings are settled?

check to see if the isolators are in there right spots

yea, i know my springs determine the height, maybe im just imagining things... it just looks a little lower...

Yeah, how do you know if they are "settled?" Like i said, they didnt come out of the car when I did this job, but probably will tonight when I redo it so i can fully tighten everything down.

well usually after you mess around with the suspension the car will sit a little higher...it takes a little bit of driveing for the suspension to settle back to its original height

maybe your springs are just starting to sag

set those rear shocks at 4-5 for the street

oh god no, not 5, that is the first setting i did and the car just bounced all over the place... Im gonna try 2 or 3 to see if that gets a little more stiff w/o the bouncyness

I wonder what's the best spring rate for the rear for straight line performance?
