Default Recommendation on shop to install 'Vette IRS in a 4th gen ?

I live in the Bay Area, so I'm hoping for a shop in LA that someone can recommend for doing a custom setup like this. Also, I want to replace my t-tops with a hardtop, if anyone has suggestions about where to go for this as well.

My car is an '01 WS6 T/A, other major planned mod is a Magnacharger when they're available.

As for why, not that it should matter, but I would've bought a Z06 if it looked good ('Vettes look ok, but I love 4th/3rd gens). I already have a 3rd gen where I've re-done the complete suspension and it handles incredibly, but I want something more refined for my 4th gen. And yes, I know the cost won't be worth it for most, but it is for me.

Later, Dave '01 WS6 T/A, '91 GTA

In LA area, www.MMSracing.com would be my pic.
In the bay area there is www.ralphshotrodheaven.net and they do great work. ralphs is prolly going to be cheaper.
Hope this helps, good luck.

ALthough i think the IRS transplant is a great idea i can't figure out why you'd go to a hard top? When the tops are in it's almost the same. The only real change with a hardtop car is they weld in the braces where the topps go. That's the only support since the actual roof is a piece of metal.

I think with a set of kenny brown DD SFC's you'd be just as well off but still be able to enjoy the tops out in the warmer months.

Just my .02 but keep us posted.. i'd love to see the end product. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Have you ever seen this done before? I have a friend who was kicking around the idea, but never really looked into any details.
