Rear vibrations after burnout...what did I break??

Rear vibrations after burnout...what did I break?? I was driving in 1st at 3500rpms and floored it. I heard a bang from the rear and then started to feel vibrations...almost like I had a flat tire or something. What could I have broken? The vibrations happen at any speed and come from the rear of the car. When I increase the speed I also hear a loud banging noise comming from the trunk area.
