How does this sound for a budget suspension set-up....
My car has 67,000 miles and quite a few 1.6-1.7 60 ft launches on it. I want to stiffen it up a bit and make it handle better. I already have my hands on a set of OEM shocks, I got a great deal on them. I also want subframes, a larger front sway bar, a strut tower brace, and the SLP lowering springs. These mods are pretty cheap, will they make a noticeable difference in the handling of the car? I will go to 17" wheels eventually, just not yet....

You need to list other mods on your car H P wise to determine your suspension upgrades. I recommend adjustable shocks such as Hal's. I have learned stock motor with bolt-ons H P mods require one setting while a car with H/C will require other settings. Describe your car more. HOWEVER, IMHO, YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK. Sidenote--I am currently trying to get my 60' times in the mid 1.5 range on a vig 3200--best so far is 1.602. Don't be scare to experiment on suspension setup, tires, and launch techique.

Kenny I think I left my sway bar at Joe's.U can have it for free. Its a Ws6 front bar.Just call JPR and ask him if he still have my front sway bar?
Get a set of Slp or DD frame conn.
And add the shocks, eibach sport springs, stb and the car will be awesome with 17's.

Kenny, Where do you want to go with the Formula? Pro touring, Drag or Autox/RR?
I'm not a fan of the KBDD type SFC's for lowered cars and as for the STB, I think its not gonna do anything until you are pushing the limit on a twisty track of some type. Also I would wait until you have enough $$$ to upgrade the shocks while your doing the springs, they're not difficult but just a big PITA so you might as well make it worth while

You might check out the SLP Level 1 kit. It includes SLP Eiback sprinhs, SLP Bilstein shocks, 1LE LCA's, panhard and front sway bar. I have it on my T/A and am very happu with it. I added a poly torque arm mount, 1LE trans mount and 275/40/17 Nitto 555RII tires on painted 17x9 Firehawk wheels. Tom Byrne has the Level 1 kit on GP for $549 right now; or $599 with boxed LCA's and panhard. This is how much it lowered my T/A
