Anyone Using Aerospace Light Brakes
Is anyone using aerospace light brakes for the fronts? Can these brakes be used for everyday driving and whenever? These brakes save 30 pounds of weight on the car upfront. Please post all pros and cons on the use of these brakes. I am trying to reduce weight on front of car for better 60'times. Your assistance will be appreciated.

Re: Anyone Using Aerospace Light Brakes
From looking at the pictures in the Jegs catalog, they look almost like the Strange front brakes which really should NOT be used on the street. They probably require the same type of fab'ing to be installed.
If you use any type of these brakes it moves you're car into the "I need a trailer to get to the track" catagory. I'm going to see if light street driving to the track will work or not but a trailer is in my near future. Replacement Strange rotor are around $80 I think.
I'd go with the K-member, a-arms before the brakes since you can still drive on the street almost normally.

Re: Anyone Using Aerospace Light Brakes
Thanks for the information. In the near future, I am going to order the K-Member and and upper and lower control arms for weight savings. I guess for now, I will have to look at other options to save weight and other mods. BTW, those are great pictures on your brake install. That should give you a big boost on the 60'time. Good luck with your car, it should be very fast.
