Default Best shock for daily driven lowered Z28

Looking into lowering the car and need to know what are the cheapest (but good) springs I can get. I'm not interested in Auto-Xing or anything, just want a better ride than the stock shocks will give me after I lower it.

I've been very happy with my combo of Eibach ProKit springs and SLP Bilstein shocks. The ride is firmer than stock, but not harsh. This would be a nice combo for a daily driver IMO.

Most people really like the Bilstein HD's . I have them on my car ( the rear, I have Koni's on the front ) and I love them. The price is reasonable too ( The Bilstein's, not the Koni's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> )

Bilstein HD's.

Make sure you get them revalved to match the spring rate and drop. Sam Strano has good advice.

The ride on mine is a little more harsh, but it is what I expected and wanted. The overall ride is superb and the shocks work a treat.
