Default what size 18's on stock ws6?

I'm looking for new wheels and I want to go with an 18"er mainly for looks. I'm wondering what dimensions I can go with without getting any rubbing front or rear. I don't plan on lowering the car (already scrapes on the driveway going sideways) but if I did, it would be a 1" drop max.

Oh yeah, what tire size could I go with as well?

Thanks,

Russ

I am running 285/35's on the front and rear of my 02 TA. I have Y2K C5 (65mm) rims that are 18x9.5. The front tires cleared with no problem but the offset on the rear required me to run some H&R spacers (25mm). With the spacers on the rear a 295/35 will fit with no problem. I have the sportline springs on my car so its just about sitting on the ground. The back did fit without the spacers but under hard cornering it would rub a little. Its nothing a hammer couldnt take care of.

I have 18x10 rears with 295-35's and 18x9 fronts with 275-35's. No rubbing problems at all and my car is lowered about 1 5/8".
