Slicks or DRs
I've got some old 80's style RS rims and was thinking about gettin some slicks for use at the track. I've heard that i might run faster with drag radials b/c the slicks might actually make the car bog on launch. Need opinions on what i should do. Thx

if you want to be safe get DR's...i'd just get some BFG's and be done with it although many A4's have run safe with ET streets and the like......over time though yer rear end isnt going to like any of it and is gonna want to get upgraded to a nice 12 bolt or 9"!

Dont be fooled by drag radials.. I have an 02 firehawk with most bolt ons and nitto drag radials and if i heat the **** out of them i cant even get a chip launchin at 3500 and it boggs like crazy so make sure you launch high rpm.. Good luck. P.S. think about runnin drag radials all day long so u never get caught with your pants down..

Re: Slicks or DRs
you have a A4 so get nittos. You wont bog really unless you have a M6 and hook
Ive cut 1.58's on 245/50/16inch nittos stock internally so they hook. But as with any DRAG RADIAL, make sure they prep the track WELL there, cause if not you wont hook. I cant average 1.60's all day, but on a crappy track ill be lucky to see 1.75's-1.85's
also run 18-20PSI in them, dont go any lower at track!
With the cam i think im pushing to much tq and they cant hold any. Ive only cut a 1.64 since cam, but im relearning the launch again
get a nice stall to go along with the nittos
