Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3
I'm curious about these new???? tires from Goodyear. Has anyone used them before and if so what the verdict on them ? This is the first I've heard of them. Check out the link below. These are not the standard F1's or GS-C tire that Goodyear makes. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....um=45YR6F1GSD3

Re: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3
I did find a review of the tire on the web. http://www.zr1.net/F1tire.html
It looks like a Corvette ZR1 club was invited to Goodyear to test them against Mich. sports and Brid. 02. According to these test the Goodyear outperformed them.

If theses tires deliver all the performance they "claim" to have then there price (compared to some of the other tires) is a great deal. Tirerack shows them for a 245/50/16 at $135.00 compared to a Michelin Sport at $253.00

Re: Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3
Just as an FYI. I got some feedback from the Tireack on these tires. They did do some testing with these tire for dry and wet traction and said they were excellent. I asked their rep to rank in his opinion the best Dry and Wet traction and he said he would rank the tires this way.
1. Firehawk SZ50
2. Goodyear F1 GS D3
3. BFGoodrich KDW
The Firehawk also has a size advantage for us 16 inch rim guys and gals in that it is available in the stock 245/50/16 and a slightly larger 255/50/16
