KBDD or WOLFE sfc's??
 

I need to get SFC's on my car and saw a discount on the wolfe SFC's for $150 installed. My question is, for a daily driver, non-track car, will the Wolfe SFC's be good or should I drop the coin and get the kenny brown dd SFC's?

Do your self a favor and spend the $80 difference for the KBDD.They can make the car much stiffer which won't change the handling much but will change the squeaks, rattles and roof leaks more going forward.

That's exactly the info I needed. I didn't know if any SFC would work or if there was actually a difference in how the car holds up using the DD's. I'll probably just spend the extra money and get the best.

When you install the KB's you will see that under the doors are four spots on the factory pinch welds where the SFC's are welded. Take a little extra time and cut four pieces of one inch square stock to fit the gap between the SFC's and the points on the pinch welds closest to each wheel well.The pass. side front attachment is actually between the pinch weld and the sub frame.Consider a tunnel brace and your half way to a full frame car.

Bringing this one back up! What are the downfalls to the KBDD's? Any problems with headers fitting, or the SFC's blocking access to any transmission parts etc...

I had AMS install the Wolfe sub frames and I could not be happier with them. I have spared little expense in my setup. They are more than adequate for most applications and AMS is awesome. They mount flush and weigh a combined 26 lbs., quality is top notch too. In fact I have made the drive from Houston to leave my car with them several times now (my car is up there now for the ATI <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> )
