Default What are the advantages/disadvantages of BMR tubular k-members and a-arms?

What would I notice with these aftermarket parts? What’s the benefit besides that they are lighter?

Thanks

They have place for strapping the car already built in. Makes it quick and easy.

Makes dropping the engine from the bottom easier.

Disadvantages? None that I've ever noticed.

With the K-member and a-arms you need a good alignment shop. And k-members give you much more room for turbos! the only problem is they have no brake line mounts.

Interesting, I didn't even consider the brake line mounts.... My memory is bad, is that for the a-arm or just the k-mem ? I cant visualize <img border="0" alt="[Banging Head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Only the K-member but the A-arms hold the electrical wires for the ABS. Just screw the brake lines to the iner fender 1/4" above Kmember and zeep tie the wires to the brack line. A bracket for the brake line to the flex line need to be made. 2" straight piece of metal. Very easy.
