Default Stock rear brakes problem

Cool...my first post here. This looks like a great site and I have already spent many hours here.

Unfortunately, I am having a rear brake problem. I have just replaced both rear rotors and pads because they were severely wearing from the outside in and causing the rotor to taper. I now have less than 500 miles on them and the same thing is happening. For some reason the outside rotor area is wearing much faster than the inside. Any ideas????

Thanks for the reply.
Is the caliper supposed to slide back and forth?
