for 700 bucks you could do wild on suspension if you can install everything yourself. Getting stuff installed sucks.

subframe connecters
Lower Control Arms
Strut tower brace
Pan Hard rod
Lowering springs
new shocks all the way around
1LE sway bar set

car would be awesome in the turns

although i think that stuff is way more than 700 bucks total though

all i have is LCA's Strut tower brace and SFC and i like the way my car handles. much better than before

For $700, you could probably get SubFrame Connectors (SFC's), Lower Control Arms (LCA's), PanHard Rod (PHR or PH), and a Strut Tower Brace (STB), LCA Relocatioin Brackets (LCARB's), and some decent lowering (1-1.5" lower) springs... that should put you right around $700, maybe a smidge less.

I'd go with sub frame connectors, Revalved Bilsteins and some springs. Those are the mods that I felt had the most improvements with.

I'd do things in this order:

1. Call Sam Strano and get some Eibach Pro Kits from him with Bilstein shocks. Call him specifically because he can valve the front Bilsteins for the springs better than anyone else out there. Without the revalving the shocks won't be able to properly damp the spring rate and your ride will be harsher and your steering response will suffer.
2. Upgrade your front sway bar to a 35mm from Suspension Techniques. Sam also sells this.

http://www.stranoparts.com.

That should just about take care of your $700 if you install the parts yourself. If you have anything left over I'd get subframe connectors.

Once you're done with this it's time for some good tires and wheels.

I have a WS6 that has bilstein suspension, would I need to go and buy different shocks? makes me wonder why they put this "upgrade" on the car if I need to go out and buy aftermarkets...or would I just buy lowering springs and keep my shocks?

Call up LG Motorsports and take advantage of the 25% off sale. They have a lot of garage sale stuff up too in the for sale section. Springs are going really cheap right now I know that.

For around $700 you could do LCAs, TQ arm, and a set of springs. Call up and talk to Lou, or Louis I'm sure they can help ya out

I agree with 1LEThumper if you are planning on buying all new stuff. Take advantage of LG's stuff while it's cheap. The layaway plan is cool too. If you don't mind buying used stuff you can do it pretty cheap too. I went the used route and got a really good deal. I found a guy parting out his susp. stuff and traded him my stock stuff + $600, and I got the following:[*]Eibach Sportline Springs[*]Bilstein Shocks[*]1LE Front and Rear Swaybars[*]BMR Rear Lower Control Arms's[*]BMR Shock Tower Brace

I bought this stuff new:[*]Energy Suspension Polyurethane Swaybar Bushings and Endlinks[*]Kenny Brown Double Diamond Weld-in Subframe Connectors

In my opinion, the subframe connectors were the largest overall suspension/chassis improvement done to the car, and that cost me about $410 installed. If I had to do it all over again, I would have chosen different brands for a few of the pieces, however buying used saved me a lot of money and made worlds of difference in the way the car handles when compared to stock. I am pretty happy with the way it drives now, but when I get some $$ I'll be swapping out a few parts here and there. Just my $.02

Call Sam Strano. He is very familar with the driving style of a M3. He's raced them. His suspension setup using eibachs and bilsteins is the closest you'll get to a BMW.

LG is also very good. But their handling is stiffer and will not feel BMWish.
