Squeaking issues
Squeaking issues I bought my car slightly over a year ago, and when I purchased it, there was a squeaking sound coming from the rear. I told this to the dealership and they promised to fix it free of charge. They said it was the shocks and they "oiled them up" which is BS in my opinion...but the squeaking went away.
Now a year later, I've been having the same squeaking issues again for about 2 months. I really don't feel like going through the hassle of dealing with the dealership...so I'm thinking about replacing my entire suspension.
What is everyone's recommendations as far as shocks/struts go? I'd like something mid-range, not too pricey. I'd also like to get some better springs, but my main issue is that I have a "true" dual exhaust setup and have very little clearance. Are there aftermarket springs that drop you less than 1" or not at all, yet are better than stock?
Any recommendations/advise is appreciated. Thanks.

And maybe someone can chime in on the same squeaking issue from the rear I have as well, I don't drive my car much, got it in August of 01 and only have 2500 miles, this squeaking sucks though even when I do drive it.

Re: Squeaking issues Have your dealer check the rear shock bushings, I had and have the same problem with my car. My dealer replaced the rears under warranty. They also told me that they never have this sort of problem and I must have hit something to cause it and they were doing me a favor. Mine seem to keep going.
