The rubber insulator seat is located on top of the coil spring. you need to take the spring out to access or remove it.

hmmm I have never heard of this mod <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />
but seriously like BLKTA said its at the top and its about 1.25" thick. my water hoses have been doing great for about 2k miles now, sounds ghetto but its hidden and it works <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
also before I did it, I ran a search on here and found plenty of info. let me know if you want some help with it, I should be the master of rear spring information/installation here shortly <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />
