Have you guys tried the Home Depot washer mod. Go to Home Depot and find the garden section. Find the area that sells hoses. They have a million different type of hoses, the black industrial hoses work best. Now remove the rubber washer inside of the end of the hose and use them. Its cheap and replacement washers are easy to get when they wear out. The beauty of these washers is they will prevent any kind of leaks.
I also went ahead and stickied this message for this incrediably valuable information.

Often referred to as HD washers.

I personally prefer the topless automotive washers.

Thanks guys! I think I've figured out which washer I'll use. I'm going to use the one all the way to the left.

I like Maytag washers. They have a nice flat surface and are very reliable.

Yall forgot to put the lower control washer relocation brackets on. Duh! Good for a few tenths off the quarter and at least .5 off 60 foot times.
