broke my rear sway bar

Default broke my rear sway bar (pics)

i was looking at my car today and it was sitting uneven when i look under the car i saw that the rear sway bar was snaped on the passenger side right after the mount and i was wondering why this happened i dont auto-x my car and nothing happened drastic that would cause this?

Impressive.... Never saw that before. Can't tell you why, the endlink is much weaker than the bar, and should have broken first. I guess either some serious rust or just bad steel.

ill take some right now. they are eibach and only 1 1/2 year old.

willing to bet that someone tightened it while the wheels were off the ground. SO even when your car sits flat on the ground, your swaybar had some serious pressure on it. SOmeone didnt preload the suspension and do it the right way.

i installed them and the wheels were on ramps so there was a load on it when i tightened it down.and here are pics
