Problem

for the last couple of days i have heard the sorta clicking poping sound coming from somewhere underneath the car...

i have narrowed it down a bit i think... here is what i know

1)everytime i go over a speed bump something pops/clicks...
2)it sounds like it is from the back on drivers side of the car...
3)if i hit a bunch of side by sidecracks in the road it sound like it rattle... or maybe clicks or pops a few times quickly
4)i can stand on the side of the car when the door is open (drivers side) and jump up and down and nothing will happen on the poping/clicking noise
Not sure if these matter but...
5)the back shocks sqeek an assload
6)my front do not
7)my car isnt lowrered
8)i have LCAs and LCA arms on the car... they are poly rubber bushings... the have been greesed and they are on tight

any ideas?

Have you checked the rear spring perch?

Had that problem on a friends car and his rubber perch that sits between the body and the spring on the passenger rear spring was only halfway under the spring, so the other half of the spring was banging metal to metal.

Obviously poly will make a little more noise than rubber, but nothing like a spherical rod end.

Just something to look at.

my stock shocks went out at 20k miles on both of my 02 camaros.
Id look at them, see if they are leaking oil.

I have the same issue coming from my passenger rear? I installed Koni's in the spring and did the hose mod to lower the rear...........maybe my hose is not covering the entire top coil??

WELL IM A DUMBASS :judge:

i lied when i said i greesed them... apprently i have to greese the LCAs every 2-3k miles :eek2:

i had the LCA brackets welded and then regreesed the LCAs and what do you know? it is better :)

i took a look thought at the rear suspension while on the lift and i realized that the LCAs pushed my rearend back like and inch to the springs arnt vertical anymore :eek2: they start striaght then go backwards...

guess it is either ajustable LCAs or lowering springs.... guess im going lowering springs and and shocks :)
