You have plenty of life left in those.Unless your car is bouncing up and down over bumps you are ok.

I did mine at 20k in miles on both my 02 camaro's.
on both cars the shocks started leaking at about 15 miles.
what a difference it makes.

The factory shocks are not terribly good when new. The valving is not well suited to these cars and the rear shocks are the worst. I changed mine ASAP after buying it.

What do you want the car to do?

What if your car leans a bit? My drivers side is about .25 inches higher than my passengers side. Looks ugly. Someone told me that the passengers shocks were no good.

It's not the shocks, the cars are just built that way. It levels out when you sit in it.

Well Its because I had really bad vibrations when braking and I replaced front rotors with Brembos and Hawk pads and I also got an alingment done and also a brake fluid flush and refilled it with ATE super blue and it still vibrates when doing 80+ and hitting the brakes. I do have almost bald tires and worn out kinda weird because I had bad front alingment but besides that I cant figure out why I still have shaking when braking.

A few questions:

1. did you replace the rotors with AC Delco OE ones, or did you opt for aftermarket (and which kind)?

2. Did you properly bed the rotors in?

3. Did you check the caliper slider pins?

Depending on what you're doing you should opt to replace the factory shocks, especially since older shocks can contribute to the problems stated above.

I got Drilled Brembos, Hawk HPS pads, Properly bedded them in.
And the slider pins were looking good. Or should I have replaced them ?

I do have badly worn front tires, and they are worn uneven from the previous bad alingment.

okay, you need to:

1. Replace shocks (highly likely). What shocks do you have? If they're the orange ones (Decarbon), you need to replace them. I also say that if you have the SLP/Bilsteins installed, then that's a consideration as well (just not as urgent). When you replace them, consider a quality replacement shock. You'll be amazed with how much shocks affect many aspects of vehicle performance and suspension, brake, and tyre longevity.

2. Replace tyres. You stated they're worn, so they're going to need replacements anyways. A hard pill to swallow for many, especially when some will spend serious money on some serious rubber, yet not take the alignment too seriously, then have a real serious problem with the performance, then discover they need a serious tyre replacement.

3. As you get new tyres, you're going to need the alignment done. When you get it done, get the alignment spec sheet that the shop offers. If they can't promise you one, go to another shop.

4. Get the brake rotors checked for excessive runout. If they have excessive runout, get them resurfaced, then re-bed them.

I will like to get shocks first, though they will be some serious money, more than tires.

Then I will get tires. Its just that shocks and tires will put me at like $1300.
