Not truly an F-Body forum; but a LSX (GM) forum with Camaro's. Firebird's, Corvette's, GTO's and Holden's, Opel's; well....GM. Unless of course your Viper has an LSX heart in it like some RX7's, 240's and such. And I would agree to contact Koni and Hal.
Viper Forums. They would definetly have the information your seeking.

Penske and/or Moton. The rest of them dont quite cut it.
If 'that' someone has a Viper... they wont even second guess either of those two product lines. I wouldnt even consider a HAL shock on that specific chassis.

Anyway, if he is going to seriously race/open track the snake then yes, those ARE the choices (he just has to decide on the level/stages of adjustability, according to how many megabucks he wants to spend ). Just curious, do either of them even bother with a NON reservoir setup??

Koni has a multitude of non-res dampers, but I see no specific listing for an 03 SRT10. You would want to call Lee Grimes at KONI motorsport for further direction.
Penske 7000 series, non-res.
I dont believe that Moton has a non-res damper for the Viper.
The KONI 2822, 2812, 3012, 8212 and the 8611 are available as a non-res.
