Using a lift made it much quicker

But the project is pretty simple

Using floor jacks to raise the bar into place so you don't have to hold it and try and bolt it up by yourself. Also if it is powdercoated make sure the bolts fit throught the holes while you have it out.

I actually just installed my BMR Adj. Torque Arm last week, and it was surprisingly easy. The worst part was getting to the top bolt on the clamp were the front of the torque arm mounts to the tail of my transmission (T-56). Luckily my buddy was helping me, and he had some snap-on wrenches that you can change the angle of the wrench head. That helped get in there and brake it loose.

We did this all on jack stands, but a lift would have made it even easier.

Do you have an A4 or an M6? Is the torque arm adjustable? I ended up setting my angle to a -3 (BMR recomends -2 or -3 for manuals) and everything turned out great!

Good luck!
