steering column is loose, anybody know how i can fix it?

steering column is loose, anybody know how i can fix it? i took my car for inspection and it failed, the cause was a loose steering column
could anyone on here please tell me how i can fix this?

I bet he means the tilt mechanism is trashed and the wheel moves around when driving. Common with this type of GM column, and exactly why anyone who drives my car gets a lesson to NEVER pull on the wheel. The internals wear out, and bolt hold egg out.... really the only fix if this is the problem is a new column.
