Default brake caliper piston came out!!!!

IS this normal? Can I just get the tool and push it back in? I tried with my hands to get it back in and there was no chance of that happening. Any suggestions of what to do?

they shouldnt come out unless your forcing them out and rebuilding the calipar. Look at your old pads on that side, does it look uneven, like 1 of the pistons was pushing harder then the other?

You can get caliper grease (I'd not use regular grease), but if you don't have that, I'd just slather it in brake fluid, open the bleeder and try to keep it square and flat while you push it back into the bore.

use a C-clamp and compress it in like you would if you had to collapse the caliper

They should go back in by hand IF they are square and aligned properly
