Default Which Rotors would be Best from Ebay

He guys i am looking for some drilled/slotted rotors for my 99 trans am. I have drilled/slotted on there now, but they are getting worn and pitted, so its time to replace. I am looking on ebay for some rotors without breaking my pocket too back. I know wilwood and Baer are the best ones, but they are a little out of my price range. Any help from you guys would be appreciated greatly, just copy the link in here, or post your opinions. Thanks

are you performance oriented or show oriented?

if you are all show and no go.. go ahead and pick up any drilled and slotted rotors..

if you are performance oriented, and race on the street or canyons, get the brembo blanks..

drilled rotors will be more prone to stress cracks or fractures if you use them under heavy braking..

i learned that going with less expensive rotors turns out to be a head ache....i bought mine off of ebay, and 3 months later they were warped....so i went to autozone, they offer a set of baer decela stock replacements, drilled and slotted, fot less than 300 bucks, and they guarantee them not to warp, crack for 3 years, or they replace them.....look into that if its with in your reach....i know the 100 buck i spent on ebay, was jsut waisted....just my .02

Why not just drill your own? Someone else just did it on these boards successfully (for what? one drive by the time they posted?)

Don't remember what company it was, but I bought a pair of fronts for my third gen for right around $100 shipped.

Within a couple weeks my passenger one had a very noticeable crack in it. Contacted the company and they actually replaced it for me without even seeing my cracked one. While I was impressed with the service, I was very unimpressed with the product and promptly went out and spent the money to upgrade to 13" C4HD brakes with blank rotors.

Now for this car I'm going to be going the C5 upgrade from UMI I believe. As of now I have Duralast blanks (stock replacement) and they're working okay. Might not look the coolest, but they're not going to crack on me
