I think I know what you are getting at though, and its a good point. You need spring compressors for removing front stock springs. Other springs depending on how big they are might not need them. The strano springs are slightly compressed though after seating them over the shock, and I wouldn't recommend removing them without the compressor. I only say this because my Strano springs won't allow free movement of the rubber perch mounts that you get when the springs aren't compressed.
No I was saying you don't need a spring compressor to take off or put on strano springs. You can get the nut started on the shock without a spring compressor and just use a ratchet to tighten it down, and the spring ends up being a little bit compressed.

Sounds like you're ride on "slinkies" not springs.

I just got some Intrax springs put on yesterday. She rides very low, looks like yours. The ride is hard! I am running stock De Carbons with all bumpers in place. I'll see if I get used to it. I wanted low, but maybe this is an inch too much.

Why do you run lowing springs on cars without the right shocks that can handle it. I waited till i got my konis to put on my springs because it will ride and handle like **** otherwise.

Aha. See that contraption between your rubber bumpstop and your chassis? That's a spacer. You don't need that there. Those didn't come stock on the car.

Another thing, you have the blunt end bumpstops rather than the normal progressive bumpstops that are in sort of the shape of a upside down triangle. That may lessen the blow you take if you swap them out with some normal z28 bumpstops.

This may help you out, but I'm 90 percent sure won't make your car ride like a caddy. This way you'd have probably 3 inches of supsension travel rather than 1.5 inches.

I bet the guy who has the car you like, removed his bumpstops.

I beg to differ, that set up did come stock on the WS6.

As well as on my SS, Z28's have different bumpstops.

Oh! I see. I knew the WS6 had the blunt bumpstops. I didn't know they also had the spacers in there. Good info.
