Bushings
Has anybody replaced bushings on their car, and if so, what ones did you use.
Trying to restore a higher milage car to factory ride quality or better, not looking for a dragrace setup.
I have seen a few master kits online, but wanted to know what other people have used. (or if it is not likely needed, and spend the money elsewhere)
Thanks
Ryan

If you'd like to restore to factory ride or better without adding extra bind to areas that need good articulation, then you might want to settle for rubber. The only areas that I would like to use poly would be those where the extra material bind is useful, such as:
1. swaybar endlink bushings
2. swaybar to body bushings
3. motor mount
4. transmission mount (provided the mount either fits correctly out of the box, or if it can be modified doing so, otherwise stick with the OE rubber).
5. torque arm mount
Bear in mind that you should have some synthetic wheel bearing grease, because the swaybar-to-body bushings and the torque arm mount will need frequent greasing since those areas require some optimal articulation.
Areas not recommended to add:
1. rear trailing arms
2. front lower control arms
3. front upper control arms
