Default k member swap

has anybody done one if so whats the best way of dealing with the brake lines

disconnect and belad the system
or try and pull the lines from the k member so you can drop it freely

there are 4 bolts and 1 pushy plastic thing connecting the lines to the k-member, all within easy reach. I did my k member last week. I just unbolted and dropped the frame, no need to unhook and bleed.
