Default 98 Z28 what schocks?

What are the stock shocks that came in the 98 Z28. my car has been having a lot of squeks and noise when hitting little bumps, I want my car to ride like new, so whats the part # for all for, and also what else should I replace that might be worn and be making all kinds of noises?

Stock shocks are called "DeCarbons" and suck. If you're going to lower the car at all, go with some revalved Bilsteins or some Koni shocks. I hear they're on quite the backorder right now though.

If you're keeping stock ride height, look into the Bilstein HD shocks. Any of these will vastly improve ride quality and handling!

Your car will ride better than it did when new, along with handling better, and being more predictable.
