www.installuniversity.com will show you what to do with the brake lines when installing RLB's.

I bet your bushings are 1/2" and the bolts are 12mm I'm currently trying to decide how I want to grind my holes larger to 1/2"

I remember when I put LCAs in my '94 with relocation brackets and subframe connectors that bolted to the LCA mount. I had to replace my hardware with all grade 8 stuff and torque the mounts to 120 ft/lbs (I snapped the stock bolts) to get rid of my knocking noise. Then I got a different knock/rattle type noise a few weeks later when my rod ends crapped out. I replaced them with QA1 rod ends and never had any more problems, up until I sold the car.

I think the stock bolts are Grade 10.9 (on my 2001 Formula anyway, I don't know about other years). Isn't that stronger than Grade 8?

I cut my brake line brackets in half with a hack saw.

My dad has the same clunking problem when we got his BMR LCAs. During the '05 PowerTour, a BMR rep. told us that installing subframes would cure the problem. We ordered some when we got back home, installed them, and then noise is gone!

Stronger than an ISO 8.8, yeah. But mine may have been replaced somewhere along the line, since I broke them with a 3/8" ratchet. Seems kind of weak to me. Also, the bolts I used were a SAE class grade 8, which is the same as ISO 10.9 and one class higher than the ISO 8.8.

I was using the BMR arms also. My noise was there until I replaced the hardware and overtorqued the connection.
