f*&%$ rear brakes
Ok I have had a squeaking rear breakes so I got new pads rotors and installed and they still squeak why is this could it be that metal tab that goes above the pads??

depends on the pads you put in also. when i put in my ebc green stuff pads they squeaked because there is metal pieces in them then after a month they stoped and its been fine ever since.

I also bought a brake hardware kit for 18 bucks which came with new caliper pin boots, anti rattle clips, and brakepad shims. It's probably worth it if your car hasn't had that done in a long time, if at all.

Fixed mine after days of rework....
Had same problem, mine was my caliper slider pins were worn, both front and back ones. Take a good look at those. Mine had alittle wear but i used a set of calipers to measure and they were .005" undersize. That will cause the caliper to oscillate under brakeing, especially if this happen when under light braking.
