Default Want to raise the rear, but keep my eibachs? How?

I have a 2001 z thats lowered with a pro kit. I just bought new boyd coddington smoothie 2's, 17x10's w/315's in the back, and im hoping and thinking that the edge of the wheel will stick out farther than the stock 16" z wheels do. So, i dont like the way the back is so low for asthetic purposes and i dont want to mess up my quarter panels. How should I raise the back while still keeping my eibachs? I was looking at a set of adjustable spring perches from ground control for $92. How does that sound? should I go about it another way? air bags? and are there anything cheaper than this? I figure ill be able to skip out on the LCA Relocation brackets since im about to raise it back up again, so i dont really mind spending the $100. Thanks.

I have the Ground Control set-up that includes the Eibach springs that are in the pro-kit. Have 17x11 with 315s in rear and have it lowered only about 3/4 of an inch. Works great. You just have to make sure your PHB is adjusted exactly perfect so the inner edge of the 315 doesn't rub the inside of the wheel well. No problems touching the quarter panel though.

Good luck.

I see they have the adjuster plates only for the rear but not for the front without the kit.

Anyone know?

How much do just adding the adjusters raise the car. I was looking at the adjusters but don't want to raise my car much.

ON the minimum setting, the adjusters will raise the car about 1/4 inch and you can get about 2 to 2.5 inches of total adjustment out of them. I'm sure they will do the job for you....unless you need more than that....

Good luck!

By using airbags, you will increase the rear spring rate and change the ride characteristics of the vehicle. They work well, but I would recommend the Ground Control adjusters for the rear, they will have a minimal impact on the handling of the vehicle. Just my thoughts....Good luck!!!

AsianIce25. I just noticed we live close to each other. I would like to hear your car some time. I have a 224 112 cam and headers to be installed but would like to hear what that cam sounds like.
