ls1 springs on lt1

ls1 springs on lt1 I did a search but all results were for lt1 springs on an ls1. I want to know if putting STOCK LS1 springs on my LT1 would be beneficial for my application. I want to go with stock springs because I plan on dual exhaust and want a near stock ride height. I have done a LOT of weight reduction and noticed that my front end sits much higher than my rear. Since stock springs are fairly cheap, I was thinking about going from my stock rate of 310 to the LS1 stock rate of 292, to drop the front to where it used to be. Weight transfer should be great because of the low spring rates, ride height would be level with the rear, and handling would be good as I have Koni SA's and plan to get larger hollow sway bars. Any thoughts?
