Default Pinion angle with stock torque arm

Does anyone know, or has anyone measured the pinion angle on a stock car with the stock torque arm? I'd measure it myself but I got rid of my stock torque arm, nothing came up on the search, so I figured someone might know. Also, how much would the pinion angle change when the car is lowered say an inch or inch and a half? Thanks

i was under the impression that stock was 0* but never bothered to measure. apparently it needs to be slightly less than that for proper u-joint operation.

i will get a measurement for you this weekend if no one else beats me to it.

With a full-length torque arm you're not going to see a significant change in pinion angle when you lower the car. the full length t/a maintains the same pinion angle through most of the suspensions range of movement.

So it's just 0* then? Can anyone confirm that? Thanks for the help

i'm told that exact 0 is bad for the u-joints. so it's probably just a hair or two negative.

i'll get you an exact measurement this weekend

Im sorry bud, I can't find my angle finder (and i've got at least 2 ) anywhere. If it doesn't turn up I'll go pick one up, but it may be a while.
