Question Which shocks for stock springs?

Well, the title says it all, I'm not planning on lowering my car, so I currently have stock shocks w/ stock springs on it, now I wanna get rid of the stock shocks, they suck as you all know, which ones do you recommend me to get that would greatly fit the stock springs? I want comfort, smooth ride, not stiff, the car is a dd, street use only, no racing, thanks for your input.

I don't agree.... Beyond being vaporware (not available), Bilstein messed up their valving about 2 years ago now and basically made them yellow DeCarbon's... Yeck.

Truth be told, the valving is bad enough I don't use Bilstein's at all unless they are Revalves these days (or rather before The Great Backorder Mess of 2007).

Koni's are bar none the best dampers around. You can turn them down and get good control with a ride that's not as harsh as stock. Beyond those, which are not cheap--though you definitely get what you pay for in a number of ways, including the warranty process if needed. Probably the best bet is a set of Tokico's (and I can't believe I'm saying that). It's just come to the point that the old standby in days past would have been HD's. That was pre-screwed up valvings, on top of the backorder issues. Now that they aren't right anymore, it's skewed everything.

4/3's are shocks, so are HD's... I guess there is a mis-understanding here. Can't use 4/3's and HD's together as they are the same replacement parts as each other. Like running an LS1 and an LT1 at the same time.
