Question LS1 -> LT1 rear brake swap

I have a Moser 12-bolt and getting ready to swap rear brakes with a buddy to an LT1 setup. I know I have to remove both backing plates, but before I start, will I have to remove and reinstall my bearings to my axles? I didn't realize this would be that hard to do. If I could get some assistance, that would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you will have to remove and reinstall the axle bearings. It sucks but it has to be done.

Keeps factroy style disc brakes. Easy to find parts for. Allows you to run Pimp *** Drag wheels due to the LT1 setups smaller diameter.

Can't run regular drag wheels with the LS1 brakes without grinding the calipers. LT1 brakes don't need grinding.

I Personally would fork up the cash to get the bogarts before i switch back to LT1 brakes IMO they suck.
